Dr. Eric Wengrowski
received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University in 2019. His thesis advisor was Prof. Kristin Dana. His research interests include computer vision, computational photography, and machine learning. He has interned at over six different companies including microstartups, government contractors (Kitware, Clifton Park, NJ), and large research labs (Siemens, Princeton, NJ) and (Microsoft Research, Redmond, WA). His technical publications have appeared in CVPR ( The Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition); ICCP (IEEE International Conference in Computational Photography); WACV (IEEE Winter Conference on Applications in Computer Vision); ICIP (IEEE International Conference on Image Processing); and IET Radar, Sonar, and Navigation.
Kristin J. Dana received her PhD from Columbia University in 1999 and her MS degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992, and a BS degree in 1990 from the Cooper Union. She is a Full Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers University. Her research is funded by NSF, IARPA and industry partners in the areas of computer vision, computational photography, machine learning, pattern recognition, and robot vision. She is the recipient of the NSF Career Award (2001) for a program investigating surface science for vision and graphics and a recipient of the national Charles Pankow Innovation Award in 2014 from the ASCE. Dr. Dana serves as associate editor of the IEEE Transactions for Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, program chair for IEEE WACV 2018, and program chair IEEE CVPR 2022.
Rone Baldwin is a senior business executive who has over 30 years experience in business development and P&L leadership for large businesses in the financial services and insurance industries. His most recent position was Executive Vice President, Markets at Centene Corporation. He also served as a corporate officer for GE where he was the CEO of the Employee Benefits Group; CEO of GE Edison Life; CEO of GE Capital Japan; and Senior Vice President of Strategic Development for the Insurance Group. In this latter role he executed over $10 billion in transactions including acquisitions, divestitures and IPO spin-offs of different insurance businesses. He has acted as an angel investor and served as a CFO of a start-up wind energy company, Optiwind. Mr Baldwin has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Physics from Amherst College.
